About

The Society of Australian Systematic Biologists (SASB) is a non-profit, interdisciplinary organisation, supporting systematists and those in related professions. We promote the study of biological systematics (how organisms are related to each other through time) and share scientific and educational information related to taxonomy, phylogenetics, biogeography and biodiversity informatics.

As a society, we provide news and updates to our members, offer grants and honorary awards, and organise a conference every two years, often in partnership with other Australian scientific societies.

To get in contact with the society, email the secretary (sasbiologists [@] gmail.com).
